London Poetry Festival

I’ll be reading at the 5th Annual London Poetry Festival, on Sunday, August 9th, at Waterloo St John’s Church, SE1 (it’s opposite Waterloo Underground station). There are all sorts of poets appearing, and you can read more about it all here.

The evening starts at 7.30pm, with admission £5 / £3. There are also three more nights of poetry, spoken word, monologue and music, with the festival running from the 7th to the 10th, so you can buy a Weekend Ticket (Friday and Saturday, £8) or a Festival Ticket (all four nights, £15).

You are having a busy time, Matt! We enjoyed hearing that Newcastle Uni. was represented by Jeremy Paterson (was he Dean of Arts in your day?) on the 4th Plinth.
