IWP 2007

On the subject of photographs, here are some great images from the International Wildbird Photographer Awards 2007, the results of which are in the February issue of Bird Watching. The winner, Danny Green's picture of a single Grey Plover in a sea of Knot at Snettisham, is superb, and as you can see he was up against some great competition. Enjoy...

What wonderful images. I so admire wildlife photographers for the patience that is required to take these sort of images. Hours and hours in all sorts of weathers. I'm a point and click person myself.

Yes, I'm the same, Frances. Not nearly enough patience to do any more than point and shoot.
I love the winning entry - Grey Plovers always seem to be thee grumpy old men among waders, determined to do their own thing.
